I am a diehard fan of small businesses in the wedding and creative industries. While studying public relations at Virginia Commonwealth University, I fell in love with the wedding and event industry while working with a PR and marketing agency specializing in the wedding industry. After graduating, I dabbled in event planning and marketing at a Relais & Châteaux property in Charlottesville, Virginia. I then worked at a locally owned wedding magazine, website, and expo before returning to the wedding PR agency. The love for the small business owners who primarily make up the wedding event industry only strengthened over the years. The immense dedication, pride, and passion they all showcase in their work are like no other.
I realized that now more than ever, wedding professionals needed a virtual assistant who could confidently help them handle the small tasks that seemed to bog down their days so they could get back to painting the bigger picture. Over the last few years, the industry has been overworked and overwhelmed with the pandemic and rescheduling of events, the rise of weekday events on top of weekends that were already overbooked. With my skill set of being as type A as they come along with my organizational skills and enjoying diving headfirst to new projects, I knew opening my own virtual assistant business was the perfect fit for me. So, Ariana Teachey | Virtual Assistant was born.
When I am not scrolling Instagram, TikTok or Pinterest to find the new up-and-coming trends for weddings, home décor, and fashion - you can find me playing Mario Kart with my husband and son. If you find me with my headphones in I am most likely listening to a true crime podcast or Taylor Swift.
I would love to know more about you and your business and chat about your favorite podcasts (and maybe your favorite Taylor Swift songs!). You can fill in my contact form here so we can connect.
